Last Saturday, the Performing Arts Center hosted a massive Gala, organized by the Department of Celebrations, with the participation of all dance schools of the Municipality;

a great show of music, dance and joy, which made a very enthusiastic audience enjoy.

Mónica Sánchez, Doña Cuaresma, is from Balsicas, 17 years old, and belongs to the Kímbara Dance School.

Mónica participates in Carnival parades, since she was little, parading and dancing in numerous shows throughout the region.

Mario Lozano, Don Carnal, a native of Torre Pacheco, 24 years old, belongs to the Ultimate Dance School.

Today what started as a hobby for Mario, has become his profession, participating in numerous contests and performing many actions.

A dance competition, in which Almudena Sánchez and Juan Manuel Serrano of the Esmeralda Torres School participated;

Mónica Sánchez and Raúl Martínez from the Kímbara School;

Irene García and José Barrancos, from the Replay School;

Aída Fernández and Mario Lozano, from the Ultimate Dance School.

Difficult choice for the Jury formed by Mª José Buitrago and Mª José Ruiz, great professionals, with experience in the field of Carnival.

The Gala led by Carmen Laura Schmidt, counted on the participation of the Schools of Dance, Kímbara, Replay, Esmeralda Torres and Ultimate Dance;

flamenco, hip hop, Salsa, urban dances, a sample of the great work done by the Dance Schools of the Municipality.

Next Wednesday at 22.30, in Canal Uno Mar Menor - Torre Pacheco, the Don Carnal and Doña Cuaresma Election Gala will be broadcast, and after its broadcast it can be seen again at: http://www.tuwebtv.es /pecial.php.

The Carnival Celebrations continue in Torre Pacheco next weekend, on Saturday March 16 at 12 in the morning, with the Children's Party "The Battle of Don Carnal and Doña Cuaresma", in the Young Space;

and the III Carnival Parade Contest, with more than 40 Comparsas from 6 in the afternoon will tour the streets of the center of the town;

then, and also in the Young Space, the Battle between Don Carnal and Doña Cauresma and the Carnaval Awards, and on Sunday, March 17, the First Contest of Chirigotas, with performances by Los Singuangos, Las Chochonis and Los Robinsones de the Island, in the Performing Arts Center, will end the events of the Carnival of Torre Pacheco 2019.
