12 people complete the theoretical part of the course SOCIO-DEMANDING ATTENTION TO DEPENDENT PEOPLE IN SOCIAL INSTITUTIONS, given by the City Council of Torre Pacheco and aimed at job seekers in order to facilitate their access to the labor market.
The activity, coordinated by the Department of Employment and Local Development, has been developed at the Day Care Center from Monday to Friday, from 9 am to 2 pm.
Qualified as a Certificate of Professionalism, subsidized by the Regional Employment and Training Service and co-financed by the European Social Fund, its objective is to care for dependents in the social healthcare field, applying strategies designed at an interdisciplinary level and procedures to maintain and improve autonomy. personal and relations with the environment of this group.
With a total of 450 hours of training, it began on November 22 of last year 2018, and has allowed its participants to acquire skills in this area of ​​important social demand, developing skills in occupational categories of handicapped caregivers (physical, psychic and sensory), gerocultor or caregiver of dependents.
The training will be completed with a module of professional non-work practices, developed in companies of the sector for 80 hours that will allow to apply in the real field the received lessons.
