Fame Innowa-Fair of Agricultural Technology and Agribusiness of the Mediterranean, finalizes the preparations for the next edition, which will take place from April 3 to 6, with a very positive response from the business sector, which already has 94% of the surface occupied exposition.
The agricultural fair has been consolidated through the 30 editions that have been held, first as Green Week of the Mediterranean, later becoming the Agricultural Fair of the Mediterranean, and until its current name from 2015. Fame Innnowa is based on the pillars of the company, production, knowledge and innovation, and has a technical organizing committee formed by more than 30 members belonging to institutions, companies, and organizations, related to the agricultural sector.
This morning has been officially presented at the Ministry of Agriculture the new edition of a contest that will become the Region of Murcia in an international benchmark in the agricultural sector, "a Community that seeks the optimization of water resources and technology," as has expressed during the press conference by the Councilor Miguel Ángel del Amor Saavedra, who has been accompanied by the President of IFEPA, Antonio León;
the Director of the Fair Institution, Antonio Miras, and the Coordinators of the Innowa Forum, Francisco Artés, Chair of the UPCT, and Juan José Alarcón, Director of the CEBAS.
Thus, from April 3 to 6, they will meet at IFEPA-Torre Pacheco, leading companies in agricultural technology from the Region of Murcia, as well as from other parts of the country, to present the latest technical advances and the latest news.
It will be a great opportunity to discover the technology and innovations that are being applied and will soon be applied in agriculture.
An exhibition that will occupy an area of ​​27,000 square meters, which will participate about 200 companies, with more than 1,000 brands represented, belonging to almost all subsectors of production means such as: irrigation systems and techniques, filters, pumps , electro pumps, water treatment, desalination, decontaminants, among others.
Also manufacturers and marketers of phytosanitary products, such as fertilizers, vegetable nutrition, seeds, nurseries, etc.

Agricultural machinery, for sowing, transplanting, harvesting and handling of horticultural products, containers, etc.

The organization expects a very positive response from professionals in the sector, since it is carrying out extensive dissemination work, have been launched 300,000 invitations, with the aim of reaching the largest number of farmers, technicians, and professionals in general, given the important pillar that the agrarian sector represents in the regional economy.
For this reason, Fame Innowa includes the celebration of the Innovation and Technology Transfer Forum, which as Francisco Artés has said, "constitutes a technical scientific support on the advances in the processes that are being shown in the agricultural sector", and in which It will count with the participation of experts of recognized international prestige to analyze different monographic sessions of current relevance, such as Sustainable Solutions for Intensive Agriculture.

There will also be a presentation of innovation projects in the agricultural sector, within the Forum Agroalimentario-Foagro, by the Professional Associations, and the UPCT, and the Ministry of Agriculture, which also held in Fame Innowa Agrolympics.
The Region of Murcia has organized an Agro Olympiad for the year 2019, which aims to select the team that will represent Spain in the Agrolympics that will take place in Poland next June.
The teams, which represent professional training centers of the agrarian family or agri-food industry, will have to pass different tests, which will be evaluated by a jury.
Likewise, a day will be developed on the construction and maintenance of greenhouses, and the presentation of novelties by several exhibiting companies, and a competition of operators aimed at professionals.
