The Integrated Center for Training and Agricultural Experiences (Cifea) of Torre Pacheco, under the Ministry of Water, Agriculture, Livestock and Fisheries, has taught a three-day floral art course, attended by about 20 people, mostly women, to acquire skills and knowledge for possible professional output in the florist sector.
The course included aspects such as the handling of the color wheel, the technique of the spiral for the preparation of bouquets, as well as different compositions of flowers and greens.
The aforementioned Center plans to impart throughout the year other thematic courses on garland making, bridal bouquets, centers for events and on the technique of ikebana, among others, related to the floristry sector, given the difficulty of acquiring This training, free of charge, without having to enroll in the Middle Grade Training Course of Gardening and Floristry.
In this way, those interested in working in this sector can acquire sufficient training.
