Yesterday the representatives of the Council of Childhood and Adolescence of Torre Pacheco met at the municipal library to discuss the needs and deficiencies they perceive in the municipality, with the purpose of deciding on those proposals that should be included in the electoral programs of all parties politicians.
Prior to the debate, a series of concepts related to political and citizen participation were discussed, such as democracy, electoral program, general / municipal elections or political parties.
The eight proposals finally approved will be sent to all the political formations that attend the next municipal elections on May 26 so that, if they so decide, they will be incorporated into their electoral program.
This activity, called "LAS IMPRESCINDIBLES", has been designed and validated by the Local Policies and Participation Area of the UNICEF Spanish Committee in collaboration with some of the 297 Child Participation Councils that exist in Spanish territory.
