Antonio León Garre, president of the PITP and candidate for re-election as mayor of Torre Pacheco, has presented the candidacy of the Independent Party in the Municipalist Coalition to attend the regional elections next May 26.
The current mayor of Torre Pacheco has highlighted the abuse suffered by the municipality in the last 15 years by the Regional Government, in terms of roads and infrastructure, educational investments, lack of support for IFEPA and other shortcomings in which the PP has determined to punish, unjustly, the residents of Torre Pacheco, even when the political color that governed the town council pachequero tune with the tenant of the Palacio de San Esteban.
Therefore, it is necessary that this nonsense, which is also repeated in other municipalities, can be heard in the Regional Assembly thanks to independent groups that do not depend on slogans and orders of state-wide parties.
The purpose of the Municipalist Coalition is to bring together these different formations distributed throughout the Region of Murcia, such as CIFA (Independent Citizens of the Village of Fuente Álamo), Citizen Movement of Cartagena, UXA (Unit for Alguazas), CCD (with representation in several municipalities), Independent of Mazarrón, etc., to achieve representativeness in the Regional Assembly and be able to defend the interests of the neighbors, together with the PITP, which is currently the fifth political party in the Region of Murcia with the largest number of councilors.
The Municipalist Coalition is headed by the independent Antonio García Sánchez, Doctor in Economics, Master in London School of Economist and professor of the Area of Fundamentals of Economic Analysis of the Polytechnic University of Cartagena.
He has been Dean of the Faculty of Business Sciences and Director of the Tourism Initiatives Center and the School of Tourism.
In its presentation at Torre Pacheco, the No. 1 candidate of the Coalition has influenced the historic debt that the Autonomous Community (with a debt exceeding 9,000 million euros and that continues to rise year after year) is acquiring with Torre Pacheco, not receiving about 8 million annually compared to the regional average allocation to other municipalities, according to data from the Regional Administration itself in the last 15 years.
Diego Alfonso García Cobacho, current Secretary General of the PITP, will be the No. 3 candidate on the list representing Torre Pacheco.
Lawyer and lawyer of recognized prestige, he has been councilor of the City Council of Torre Pacheco with independent mayors (Pedro Jiménez and Francisco Sáez) having achieved for this municipality to be a national reference in economic and social progress, from the loyal task of working for the well of the people and with dialogical and centrist postures.
