On the occasion of the "World Book and Copyright Day", the Department of Education and Culture, together with the Municipal Public Library, is carrying out and promoting numerous activities and activities aimed at promoting the book and encouraging reading;
this year honoring Antonio Mingote on the centenary of his birth 1919-2019.
On Tuesday, April 23, Radio Torre Pacheco, will carry out a radio program "Special Day of the Book", at 12.30 pm on 87.7 FM;
and in the afternoon at 7.30 pm, Lucía Chumillas, from Torre Pacheco, will present her book "Los critos del silencio", in the Assembly Hall of the Torre Pacheco Municipal Public Library.
Addicted to travel and books, a restless young woman, she likes to write at any time or place that puts inspiration within reach, she tries to reach everyone with her publications, starting to write without hardly realizing it and without knowing why, through old notebooks, blank papers and a social network.
Chimillas, will present "Los critos del silencio", a collection of poems where silence begins to scream from within;
The cries of silence is nothing other than the savage demons that await in the darkness of the old attic of the soul.
