Within the framework of the OS Sustainability Objective Project!
promoted by the social entity COGLOBAL in coordination with the Council of Citizen Participation of the City of Torre Pacheco, the children of El Jimenado have proposed organizing a solidarity march to collect food that will be donated to an NGO responsible for distributing them to the neediest families in the municipality .
The eradication of poverty and the fight against hunger are two of the Sustainable Development Goals adopted by the United Nations within the framework of the 2030 Agenda and which are being worked on in this project.
The solidary march will start from the Plaza de la Iglesia de El Jimenado on Sunday, June 2 at 10: 00h, and will run through the streets of this town along 5 kilometers.
The numbers to participate will be delivered from 9:00 h after delivery of one kilo of non-perishable food (oil, pasta, sugar, pulses ...)
The Department of Sports of the City Council of Torre Pacheco collaborates with the organization and promotion of this activity by making available to minors all their technical and human resources.
