The International Congress held from June 24 to 26, was attended by Professor Dr. Maria Haber, co-director of the Sima de las Palomas Excavation Campaign, Cabezo Gordo.
In the XXI Congress, two informative panels have been presented:
1. Axial skeleton of the Neanderthal remains of Sima de las Palomas (Dolores de Pacheco, Murcia).
2. Appendicular skeleton of the Neanderthal remains of Sima de las Palomas (Dolores de Pacheco, Murcia).
The content is presented in two panels with its subsequent presentation to the conference participants of the lists of all the human remains of the Neanderthal specimens from the Sima de las Palomas deposit.
It is accompanied by impressive images of some of the subjects who have recovered articulated, as well as some of the tomographies obtained (images obtained by their analysis with CT).
A meeting of professionals, physicians, biologists and national and international physical anthropologists, as well as students and interested in this scientific field, who during these days, have exchanged opinions, discussed concepts and exposed cases.
