This morning the first Children's Workshop "Pequeños Neanderthales" was held;
that from the Department of Tourism of the Municipality of Torre Pacheco, has been programmed;
There will be a total of 4 workshops, which will be held during the summer, aimed at children from 5 to 10 years old and totally free.
The councilman of Tourism, Raul Lledó has welcomed the participants of the Workshop, sharing with them the programmed activities.
The objective of this activity is to transmit to the small inhabitants of the municipality our most remote origins.
The aim is to awaken their curiosity through playful activities, so that they discover the Sima de las Palomas.
Children have moved 50,000 years ago, from the hand of the "Neanderthal woman", and have visited their home (the recreation of a cave), listening very attentively what he has told them about how he lived, his diet, clothes , etc.
They have also painted cave drawings, with food products such as curry, cola-cao, paprika, they have played, they have made costumes, all under the theme "Neanderthal", a success in participation and in the development of activities.
The next workshops will be held on July 17 and 30, and on August 7, in the old City Hall.
