This morning has begun the training action SAFE HANDLING OF FORKLIFT TRUCKS that will take place on 3 and 4 July, from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., with a duration of 10 hours, subsidized by the Water Ministry , Agriculture, Livestock and Fisheries, through the program of rural development 2014 - 2020 of the Region of Murcia together with the European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development.
The course is organized by FECOAM (Federation of Agrarian Cooperatives of Murcia) in collaboration with the Department of Employment and Local Development of the City Council of Torre Pacheco, taught at the Radio House of Torre Pacheco and the Gregal cooperative.
The Councilor for Employment, Veronica Martinez, has welcomed the 20 participants, mostly unemployed, encouraging them to take advantage of this training that enables the performance of positions related to the agricultural sector, and specifically those that require forklift driving as a work tool.
The objective of the course is to know which are the risks derived from the handling of the forklift truck, to obtain knowledge and skill in a correct conduction and accomplishment of the tasks with security, respecting the legal norm to the effect.
The only requirement to access this course is to be linked to the agricultural sector, or to express interest in joining it, for example, by submitting a job application.
