Mónica Sardina, in the Junior Spanish Championship, with the Taekwondo Federation of the Region of Murcia, won the silver medal, being the runner-up of Spain in the weight -42kg.
In the cadet category, the Region of Murcia stood out and got different podiums;
Among those who were, Juan Antonio Milan, gold medal in the weight -57Kg, and Pablo Cerón gold medal in the weight -49kg, both climbed to the top of the podium, getting the title of Champions of Spain;
and Lidia Galindo, silver medal in the weight -44kg, obtained the title of runner-up of Spain, all of them great athletes of the Koryo Club Torre Pacheco.
In addition, Juan Antonio Milán and Pablo Cerón have been summoned by the Technical Commission of the Royal Spanish Taekwondo Federation to participate in the 2019 Cadet World Championship, which will be held in Tashkent (Uzbekistan) from August 4 to 11.
The Koryo Club of Torre Pacheco is demonstrating the level of its competitors and technicians in all competitions to which they are being summoned by the Territorial Taekwondo Federation, as well as those that attend as an Independent Club.
Last July 5 was also held in Valladolid, the "National Taekwondo Awards 2018 Gala", in this event was awarded with the gold medal for Sports Merit Rafael Alcázar Corona, for the work developed, along with José Antonio Solano (president of the Territorial Federation of Taekwondo), with the Paralympic and Adapted Taekwondo, being responsible at the national level of the Project.
Alcázar, technical director of the Koryo Torre Pacheco Club and sports coach of the Torre Pacheco City Council, has received this well-deserved award for his work and career as a coach of the Royal Spanish Taekwondo Federation and Technical / Team Coach for National Taekwondo.
