The Municipal Pools of Dolores de Pacheco, Balsicas, Torre Pacheco and San Cayetano, celebrated the closing of the swimming courses, which this year have had the participation of 550 children, aged between 6 and 15 years.
The young swimmers demonstrated the knowledge acquired in the different styles, during the month of July in the swimming courses.
The Councilor for Sports, Oscar Montoya, highlighted the wide participation in swimming courses, and took the opportunity to "thank all the fathers and mothers, their participation and trust in our service one more year, in the swimming courses", as well as to the monitors, highlighting their work and dedication for children to learn and enjoy during the summer days.
Dolores de Pacheco hosted last Monday, July 29 at the Municipal Pool, INTERPISCINAS 2019, a sportive day in which a hundred students from 6 to 15 years participated, who have taken swimming courses in July municipal swimming pools
The purpose of the competition is sports coexistence as the main value, offering the swimmers of the summer courses the opportunity to see and feel what a competition is like on a smaller scale, and trying to arouse the restlessness of continuing to practice swimming throughout the year.
In addition, the Department of Sports, organizes an Acting Drill before an Immersion Syndrome, on the afternoon of today, Thursday, August 1 at 4 in the afternoon, in the Pool of San Cayetano, Taray.
A performance, developed by the lifeguards and technicians of the Department of Sports and with the intervention of teams of Local Police and Civil Protection of Torre Pacheco.
