Last September 26, a session of the Technical Commission of Municipal Security took place, chaired by the Mayor of Torre Pacheco, Antonio León, and with the assistance of the Councilor for Security, Rosalía Rosique, the Captain of the Civil Guard of the 4th company of Murcia, Manuel Gil Rozas, as well as the Chief Officer of the Local Police of Torre Pacheco, José Mercader and the Municipal Police, Clemente García.
He also had the assistance of the Councilor for Celebration, Yolanda Castaño, the Councilor for Emergency and Civil Protection, Juan Salvador Sánchez, the Chief Coordinator of Civil Protection in Torre Pacheco, Antonio J.
Sanmartín and the head of Security of the Festero Campus.
The Mayor took the opportunity to highlight the important work of coordination of the various security forces in the municipality, such as, Local Police, Civil Guard, and Civil Protection, which have brought high levels of citizen security in our town.
In addition, he congratulated the Security Corps for their great work carried out as a result of past floods;
ensuring that all obligations and actions have been fulfilled both in the first warning phase, during the storm, as well as after heavy rains.
