The Civil Guard detains two experienced criminals for robberies in homes in Torre Pacheco (19/10/2019)

The alleged authorship of the crime of robbery with force in things, robbery with violence and intimidation, usurpation of marital status and judicial requisition are attributed to them

They raided homes in Torre Pacheco and in the districts of Balsicas, Roldán and Lo Ferro

The main suspect, with half a history of crimes against property, was being searched after not joining prison after a prison permit

The Civil Guard of the Region of Murcia has developed the operation YERNO 2019, an investigation aimed at clarifying several robberies with force in houses of the municipal district of Torre Pacheco, which has resulted in the arrest of two young people, with a bulky criminal record, as alleged perpetrators of the crimes of robbery with force on things, robbery with violence and intimidation and usurpation of marital status.

A judicial order to enter prison was weighing on the principal suspect, after not reincorporating after a prison permit, while the other arrested had a court order that ordered his arrest.

The investigation began last June, when a neighbor of the Pachequera district of Balsicas reported the theft of 10,000 euros, jewelry and appliances inside his home.

Immediately, specialists in judicial police of the Benemérita carried out the ocular inspection of the property where, in addition to other indications and after viewing the images of the security cameras installed in the house, they were able to identify a well-known neighbor of the neighborhood from Lo Ferro-Torre Pacheco.

The investigations carried out below allowed us to find out that he had accessed the house without forcing access, with the use of a remote control that, apparently, he had achieved after establishing an alleged bond of friendship with one of the owner's children.

His full identification, corroborated by witnesses and neighbors of the different districts of Torre Pacheco, who knew about their villages and feared their presence in the surroundings of their homes, led to the establishment of a large police device aimed at their location and detention.

The suspect, moreover, was being searched for his imprisonment after not returning after a prison permit.

His expertise and criminal experience, verified by his multiple background, made the suspect an elusive target that, however, could relate to another young man, of the same nationality, on whom a court order for his imprisonment also weighed.

At the end of August and as the investigation progressed, two other robberies put the Civil Guard on alert.

In the first case, the suspect assaulted an address of Torre Pacheco and threatened his inhabitants with a knife to seize his belongings, and in the second he managed to access a Balsicas home where he stole numerous jewels.

It is in this last home where the Benemérita obtained a series of vestiges that, once collated, allowed her to determine her undoubted participation in the robbery.

Focusing the investigation on his search and detention, the researchers narrowed the siege until they found out that he had stayed at a hotel in the Alicante town of Pilar de la Horadada, using his brother's identity.

Being a criminal prone to escape, a large police device went to the scene to ensure possible escape routes and detain the suspect.

This device has resulted in the arrest of a young man, 21 years old, Moroccan nationality and with a bulky criminal record, as well as another compatriot, 20 years old, both as alleged perpetrators of the crimes of robbery with force.

The main suspect is also credited with the alleged responsibility for the crime of robbery with violence and intimidation and usurpation of marital status.

The arrested and the proceedings have been made available to the Court of Instruction of San Javier (Murcia), whose owner has decreed the entry into prison of the one who was escaped after a penitentiary permit.

The YERNO 2019 operation has culminated in the clarification of four criminal acts, committed in homes in the municipality of Torre Pacheco, although the investigation remains open to determine if the detainees are now related to other robberies of similar characteristics.
