On October 27, the day of ADHD, Attention Deficit Disorder with more or less hyperactivity is celebrated, and the City Council of Torre Pacheco joins the claims for equal rights, illuminating this central orange roundabout weekend of the Autonomous Communities in Torre Pacheco.
Next to this event on Sunday 27, ADAHI (Association for Assistance to Attention Deficit with more or less Hyperactivity) will read a manifesto at 12:00 in the Plaza Mayor Pedro Jiménez, in Torre Pacheco.
The Department of Social Services of the City of Torre Pacheco, joins this campaign with the aim of making a chronic neurodevelopmental disorder more visible, affecting between 5 and 10% of the child population and even reaching the adulthood, in some cases.
The ADAHI association is a non-profit organization, based in Torre Pacheco, whose main function is to offer assistance to all parents who, in one way or another, observe that their child has this disorder.
The problem in children or adolescents with ADHD is that they do not properly manage their impulses, needs, emotions and thoughts, which causes them to act in a maladaptive way in the different contexts where they move (family, school, friends, team, etc.) .
