4 kilometers, manifest reading, and children's activities, in a day for awareness |
The Councilor for Equality, Verónica Martínez and the Councilor for Sports, Oscar Montoya, have presented at the City Council of Torre Pacheco, the I March Against Gender Violence, a popular race with the aim of involving society in raising awareness against gender violence
The race with a total journey of 4 kilometers begins at 10 in the morning, with departure and arrival in the Plaza del Torre Pacheco City Hall.
It is not a competitive race, since there are no classifications, no times and you can practice running or walking, an activity to do as a family, with friends and with a recommended route for people with reduced mobility.
Registration is free and can be done on the website of the City Council, at the Department of Sports or on the same day of the sports activity, with the runner's bag, for the first thousand registered.
A day, which will feature Manifesto Reading, children's inflatables, animation and chocolate, which aims to raise awareness and fight against this social scourge such as gender violence.
From the City Council, citizens have been encouraged to participate in this march and the work of the technical staff has been appreciated, as well as the collaboration of the State Pact that give the possibility to the City Councils to organize activities and awareness campaigns to fight against the gender violence
