The Councilor for Education, Paco Sáez accompanied by the Teresa Marín technique, have visited Fontes College, to learn about this new initiative, accompanied by the Vice President of AMPA, Manoli Prior, and the head of studies Rebeca Cajalavilles.
In the courtyards of the school, banks have been installed, decorated by the parents of AMPA, called "Friendship Bank", so that children who feel alone, sad, or have a problem, feel and their partners, Go see them and keep them company.
In addition, to give more visibility to this initiative, Fontes School has programmed in collaboration with the Red Cross Youth, the implementation of the project "Coexistence between peers, prevention of harassment and other manifestations of violence", carried out during days 6 and 7 November talks on social and personal skills and emotion management for students from 1st to 3rd;
group dynamics to improve the peaceful resolution of conflicts and school mediation, with 4th and 5th grade students.
Sáez, has valued this initiative very positively, thanking the work of the entire educational community, to solve these problems and reported that the City Council is working on an Awareness Plan against Bullying, which will be released in January.
