Last Saturday, November 16, the Virgen del Rosario Choir and Dance Group of Torre Pacheco participated in the XVI Castellanos de Olid Folklore Festival, which was held in the city of Valladolid and in which the Organizing Group, the Association Castellanos also performed. from Olid.
With the full capacity of the Civic Center of the old Central Market of Valladolid that left many people unable to access, in a crowded hall of public, the Group of Choirs and Dances of Torre Pacheco made a full performance for an hour, in which He performed a total of eleven dances that raised the applause of the attendees, making the name of Torre Pacheco and that of our region of Murcia a great showcase in Valladolid.
In its almost 50 years, which will be next year, the Group of Choirs and Dances has shown that it is still very lively and active, being able to offer an entertaining evening that was widely enjoyed and entertained by the public.
For its part, the Group of the Association Castellanos de Olid, in addition to doing a great job to preserve the folklore traditions of these lands with their songs, gave a lesson on what social inclusion means, since many of its members are Wonderful people with intellectual disabilities who demonstrated their abilities to perform complicated dance choreographies.
The kindness of the Organizing Group of Valladolid and the wonderful reception offered to the Group of Choirs and Dances of Torre Pacheco, had an extraordinary final touch of joyful coexistence of both Groups.
