The president of the Community, Fernando López Miras, met today with the mayor of Torre Pacheco, Antonio León Garre, to address the issues of greatest interest to the municipality, within the round of contacts that the head of the regional Executive is maintaining with all the mayors of the Region.
"In what we have been doing for 2019, we have invested 72.3 million euros in the educational, health, public safety, works, infrastructure and social policies area within the municipality," said the Minister of Presidency and Finance, Javier Celdrán, at the end of the meeting.
He also stressed that different investments are planned for the paleontology museum and a new storm tank, and explained that in the last two months, 277,000 euros have been allocated to undertake emergency works on the two roads that were most affected by the episode Cold drop last September.
