The Mayor of Torre Pacheco, Antonio León Garre, has met at the Regional Government Headquarters with the President of the Autonomous Community, Fernando López Miras, where the main needs of the municipality have been analyzed.
The mayor has reminded the Regional President that Torre Pacheco has been one of the municipalities that receives the lowest number of investments from the regional budgets for fifteen years, which has resulted in accumulated deficiencies mainly in the area of ​​roads.
The President has pledged to prepare a draft budget to be presented at the Regional Assembly where more than two million euros appear to be invested in the RM-F26 (Balsicas-Los Alcázares) and RM-F29 (Pacheco-Dolores de Pacheco Tower) ), in addition to the construction of a roundabout at the intersection of La Hita and the conditioning of the Balsicas Crossing (Avda. Ciudad de Murcia).
The Mayor of Torre Pacheco has valued important infrastructures for the progress of the Region of Murcia, such as the Regional Palace of Fairs and Exhibitions (Ifepa), where CARM must bet on it and contribute financially to its modernization, as well as the Future Paleontological and Human Evolution Museum (next to Cabezo Gordo), where a Management Plan of this equipment is necessary prior to the completion of the works.
Antonio León has invited the Regional President to visit the municipality and learn first-hand the reality of Torre Pacheco, as well as to visit the works of the future Balsicas Day Center where it is necessary to arrange 20 places by the Ministry of Social Policy
