The Mayor of Torre Pacheco, Antonio León, and the vice president of the Association, Concepción Ortega signed this collaboration agreement, which aims to articulate the conditions and commitments applicable to the direct granting of a nominative grant from the City of Torre Pacheco to FAPAmTP, to cover the expenses caused by the development of the activities carried out for the maintenance and updating with the necessary funds of the Bank of books, as well as the organization and collaboration in educational cultural activities.
An act in which the Councilor for Education, Paco Sáez, the Councilor for Finance Carlos López, as well as members of the Municipal Corporation and representatives of the Association were present.
The mayor highlighted the great work done by this Association in which dozens of fathers and mothers are involved and the importance of the Bank of Books for hundreds of families in the municipality.
The activities promoted by FAPAmTP, as Ortega listed are, the organization, development and updating of the funds of the book bank, organization and development of extracurricular activities, organization and collaboration in cultural and educational activities, workshops, sporting events, conferences, courses training that serve for the integral development of fathers, mothers and students, studies on the school reality, the needs of young people, integration or any other social or economic nature, which makes it possible to improve the quality of the teaching.
