The City of Torre Pacheco, through the Department of Employment and Local Development, will launch during the first quarter of the year a MIXED EMPLOYMENT AND TRAINING PROGRAM called "EJOVEN", which will allow its participants to receive training in the specialties "AUXILIARY OPERATIONS OF CONTINUOUS COVERINGS IN CONSTRUCTION "and" AUXILIARY OPERATIONS OF ELECTRICAL AND TELECOMMUNICATION FACILITIES IN BUILDINGS ".
The project financed by the Regional Employment and Training Service with funds from the General State Administration –Public State Employment Service-, with a grant amounting to 466,475.28 euros.
Aimed at unemployed persons between twenty-five and fifty-four years of age, its purpose is to improve their occupability through the acquisition of professional skills, acquired by alternating professional training for employment with work and professional practice by performing works or services of public utility or social
For the realization of these works, which will be developed mainly in the facilities of the Young Space of Torre Pacheco, the students will formalize a 12-month labor contract, during which they will receive the current minimum interprofessional salary.
They will also receive, throughout their development, advice and guidance that will enable them both for the search for employment and for the establishment on their own.
Each training group will consist of 12 participants, who will be selected based on compliance with the following basic requirements:
- Be unemployed and registered in the Employment Offices of the SEF.
- Be between 25 and 54 years old.
- Possess the functional capacity for the performance of tasks.
- Comply with the requirements established in the regulations to formalize a training contract.
- Lack the professional qualification that is intended to be acquired, as well as a higher academic degree.
At the end of their participation in the Program, each of them will receive the corresponding certificate of the training modules.
