The Mayor of Torre Pacheco, meets with the President of the Government of Spain to show concern about the episodes of heavy rains that cause flooding more and more frequently.
The meeting took place this morning, at the San Javier Air Base, within the round of visits by the President of the Government to the areas affected by the Gloria storm, where he has received the representatives of the municipalities of the region that, together Pacheco Tower, are Los Alcázares, San Javier, San Pedro del Pinatar and Cartagena.
The meeting was also attended by the Government Delegate and the President of the Segura Hydrographic Confederation, where the State's commitment to concentrate efforts in alleviating and preventing flood damage has been shown, in collaboration with municipalities and the Autonomous Community of the Region of Murcia.
