The Councilor for Sports of the City of Torre Pacheco, Oscar Montoya, and the president of the Federation of Cycling Region of Murcia, Sergio Martínez, accompanied by members of the Municipal Corporation and technicians of the Department of Sports, presented at the Municipal Velodrome of Torre Pacheco the Track 2020 Regional Championship, which is held next Saturday, February 1, from 9 am to 6 pm.
Montoya, has highlighted the Velodrome as a unique sports infrastructure in our region, for its state and services, suitable for sports events of this level;
and thanked the Federation for having the Pachequero velodrome for a new regional competition at the same time that this sports facility is being valued, placing it as a regional reference.
For his part, Martínez, has listed the categories that this championship, cadet, junior, elite, sub-23, and male and female master category have;
In addition, he announced that in 2021 the Municipal Velodrome of Torre Pacheco will have a test of the National League on the Cycling Track in which the best athletes in the country will participate.
The Championship will start at 9 in the morning, with speed tests, individual and team chase, elimination and scratch, ending at approximately 6 in the afternoon with the awards ceremony.
A must for sports and cycling enthusiasts, this Saturday at the municipal velodrome of Torre Pacheco.
