- The Councilor for Social Services and Immigration, María José López, together with the Councilor for Education, Francisco Sáez, have visited the center of the association of Parents of Children with Hearing Impairment (APANDA), located in Cartagena.
There they met to establish the lines of work of the actions that will be launched in Torre Pacheco in the coming months.
APANDA aims to encourage and strengthen the active participation of people with deafness and their families in society, to achieve the same opportunities and improve the quality of life of people with hearing disabilities and their families.
The association with more than 40 years of history, has carried out different actions in the municipality, and is currently working on the implementation of permanent activities that allow people who suffer from some type of pathology in hearing and language , can make use of their services.
