The Councilor for Sports of the City of Torre Pacheco, Oscar Montoya, thanked the General Directorate of Sports for the election of Torre Pacheco as the venue for this regional final, and congratulated the schools for their work in promoting sports in school age, valuing the importance of the Sports Programs in the Educational Centers, and highlighting the impulse that is being given to the domino so that it is gradually being implemented, as well as chess in the educational centers.
A total of 188 athletes have participated in the Alevín and Open categories, performing competitions in pairs and teams.
The final has been supervised by the directors of the Federation of Dominó of the Region of Murcia, Pedro Jodar, Sebastián Martin and José Domingo, by the technique of the General Directorate of Sports, María Sacramento, and by the Manager of Sports in the Age School, from the City of Torre Pacheco, Paco Jiménez.
A day in which the Councilor for Sports, Oscar Montoya has been responsible for delivering the trophies and medals together with Eduardo Segarra, Head of Sports Service of the Autonomous Community, and Pedro Jodar, member of the board of the Federation of Dominoes of the Region of Murcia.
