The neighbors of Torre Pacheco, wanted to show their support in the Institutional Act of International Women's Day, organized by the Department of Equality of the City of Torre Pacheco, in the Plaza Mayor Pedro Jiménez.
Verónica Martínez, Councilor for Equality has been responsible for reading the institutional manifesto, before dozens of residents of the municipality.
An invitation to reflect on the progress made in terms of gender equality and an opportunity to focus the action and set where we want to go.
Martínez, has called "to all citizens, institutions and organizations so that together and together we move towards a more just and equal society."
After reading, a Performance has taken place, under the title "Triangular", by The Circus of Ideas.
An oral narration, poetry, live music, dance, fire, flights, wind, earth, water, ... in short, a three-way road that has told stories of women from before and now, making a journey from the ancestral to the everyday, through emotions and feelings, present and prevailing in our society, especially as regards gender roles.
