The City Council of Torre Pacheco and the Polytechnic University of Cartagena have organized a campaign to collect “easybreath” snorkel diving masks, in order to be adapted and used to treat patients with coronavirus.
Those citizens who have these devices, must call the phone number 637 831 307 and communicate the address where they are located, so that Civil Protection Torre Pacheco volunteers can proceed to remove them.
Civil Protection will organize properly and taking appropriate measures, the collection of donations, thus ensuring the confinement of citizens.
A pilot project is currently underway to verify the usefulness of these masks between the UPCT Industrial Design and Scientific Calculation Service and the Emergency Service of the Santa Lucía de Cartagena and Los Arcos del Mar Menor hospitals.
