The City Council of Torre Pacheco collaborates in the distribution of 8,000 face masks assigned to this municipality, out of the 334,000 that have arrived in the Region of Murcia, within the campaign activated by the Government of Spain to promote hygiene and healthy habits, with the aim of guaranteeing the health of the workers who, starting on Monday, resumed work activity as they could not carry it out electronically.
This past Sunday the Local Police Coordination Table met, established in compliance with RD 463/2020 by which the State of Alarm was declared, and established a Distribution Plan in which the Civil Guard, Local Police, Volunteer Group have collaborated of Civil Protection and Municipal Services of the City Council with the support of the staff of the departments of Sports and Education, proceeding to the distribution at the railway stations of Torre Pacheco and Balsicas, Bus Station, entrances to industrial estates, access to fruit and vegetable companies , transportation points for agricultural workers, industries, etc.
all this during the hours of maximum mobility when traveling to the workplace.
It is an exceptional campaign so that economic activity can be resumed with the maximum guarantees, this distribution of masks being a support for the health protection measures adopted by the Government of Spain and which involves the essential reduction of mobility citizen and the maximum observance of the recommendations of hygiene and public health.
