| The councilor for Public Roads, Commerce and Celebrations, Yolanda Castaño has reported this morning on the actions that are being carried out at the moment, in the different areas | According to Castaño from Municipal Services, this situation is being used to fix and improve the facilities of municipal buildings, such as the Educational Centers, with painting tasks, reinforcement of external fencing, and adaptation of facilities; indicating that all the necessary material has been provided for the custodians to carry out maintenance tasks in the municipal buildings.

In addition, telecommunications facilities have been fixed and improved to help residents of the municipality who telecommute at home.Urban furniture, sidewalks in poor condition, and tree pits are also being repaired throughout the municipality.

In addition, all the Ramblas and drains that pass or reach urban areas have been cleaned from the City Council, to avoid the effects of the rains.The councilor highlighted the importance of supporting and promoting the commerce sector, informing that work is underway to launch a revitalization plan for this sector, which includes aid, subsidies, and suspension of fees for the provision collection of garbage and waste to catering establishments, suspension of the rate for occupation of public roads with terraces, for all of this year 2020, among other actions that are taking place to boost local development and commerce.As Councilor of Celebrations, Castaño, has reported the suspension of all the patron saint festivities of the municipality since the state of alarm was proclaimed, as is the case of the Fiestas de Roldán, in honor of San José, reporting that they have also been suspended the next parties of Los Meroños and La Trilla, which were scheduled for the month of May.

As for the rest of the Patron Saint Festivities scheduled for the following months of this year, the councilor has informed that we must wait for the instructions of the Government of Spain, to make the most appropriate decision.
