The councilor for Emergencies and Civil Protection, Juan Salvador Sánchez, has listed the services that are being carried out by the Association of Civil Protection Volunteers, noting that from the first moment that the health crisis of COVID-19 arose, they were made available to the Government Delegation and the Local Security Table, in order to provide the services that are necessary at the moment.
Likewise, he valued the coordination, cooperation and efficiency of the Civil Protection of Torre Pacheco.In addition, Juan Salvador Sánchez, has highlighted the great work carried out by Civil Protection volunteers, in the fight against the health crisis caused by the coronavirus, greatly thanking them for their work and dedication from the moment this situation began, collaborating with Social Services to the distribution of food and essential products, performing the closest services to vulnerable people; from Civil Protection, they also maintain a coordination with the Healthcare collaborating in emergency situations, as well as in the distribution of medicines with the Los Arcos Hospital, in addition, they are coordinated with the Department of Education and Equality, in the distribution of tasks to the students of the municipality.Likewise, he has highlighted the work of volunteers, in contributing to making confinement more bearable, for families, and people living alone, with the celebration of special moments such as birthdays.In short, the Councilor for Civil Protection and Emergencies has highlighted and is grateful that during the State of Alarm, Civil Protection volunteers are at the service of citizens.
