The Councilor for Urban Planning, Alberto Galindo, has supervised the works that are being carried out by the City Council of Torre Pacheco in Mar Menor II, consisting of repairing leaks from the water table to the sewerage.The works consisting of the rehabilitation of several sections of DN 315 mm PVC sanitation pipe are carried out by installing Packers with silicate resin and curing and waterproofing wells.The Packers are formed by a triple layer of fiberglass and impregnated with resins composed of sodium silicate and polyisocyanate, among others.
With this technique, all the leaks detected with a video camera in the sanitation pipes and wells will be eliminated.This will reduce the salinity of the water that reaches the Torre Pacheco treatment plant and thus make it suitable for agricultural irrigation, Galindo pointed out, indicating that the budget for this action amounts to 15,331.41 euros. function { ;(, , {});}
