| The City Council approves the plan "Reactiva Torre Pacheco 2020", with 90 measures to relaunch the local economy | The Mayor of Torre Pacheco, Antonio León, together with the Councilor for Finance, Carlos López, presented the Plan "Reactiva Torre Pacheco 2020", a project with 90 strategic measures with the aim of becoming the engine of economic and social recovery in the town.The Plan, approved in the Ordinary Plenary on May 28, proposes 7 strategic lines: Sustainable Local Development, Training and Employment, Digitalization and Technological Innovation, Planning of Infrastructures and the Environment, Defense of the Agri-Food Sector, Culture, Sports and Leisure, and an important Social Commitment.Antonio León stressed that "Torre Pacheco has a favorable starting position, not only because it had a less drastic impact, but because we have a dynamic and entrepreneurial society, and local companies are demonstrating their high level of commitment and solidarity."León pointed out the importance of the Plan as a government guide for the legislature, pivoting around "three important axes, the Urban and Integrated Sustainable Development, with the concretion in a new General Urban Planning Plan that lays the foundations of the Pacheco Tower of the future ; decisive support for local trade and small and medium-sized enterprises, through direct measures to subsidize innovation and awareness-raising campaigns; as well as the reinforcement of social commitment, with a redotting of emergency items to attend to those people that they are in a vulnerable situation.

"The Councilor for Finance, Carlos López, pointed out some of the most important measures of the Plan, highlighting "the availability of industrial land in Dolores de Pacheco and Balsicas, the drive for investments to improve local infrastructures, especially those that have objective to prevent floods; the development of a Local Employment Plan, aimed at unemployed youth and over 45s, and the commitment to maintaining financial support for sports and cultural associations and groups, among others, to a total of 90 "
