The Ministry of Development and Infrastructure is repairing, with an investment of 258,756 euros, six roads that run through the municipality of Torre Pacheco and that were damaged by the torrential rains of last September.
These actions are part of the 70 works that the regional Administration is executing to solve all the damage caused by the damage to the regional road network and to which it has allocated 4.5 million euros.Currently, the General Directorate of Roads is working on the road that connects the pachequera district of Balsicas with the municipality of Los Alcázares (RM-F26) and on which connects Balsicas with Balsapintada and Fuente Álamo (RM-F12).
The general director, José Antonio Fernández Lladó, together with the mayor of the town, Antonio León, visited these works today, which consist of the reconstruction of the margins and sides of both roads that were broken by the rains.Fernández Lladó insisted on "the need for the Region of Murcia to receive from the State an amount of 10.7 million from the European Union Solidarity Fund that amounts to 57 and has already been awarded by Brussels." As noted, "these European aid will help finance these emergency expenses that had to face both the Autonomous Community and the municipalities of the Region of Murcia affected by the damage."
