The alleged perpetrator of the plantation has been investigated as an alleged perpetrator of the crime of cultivation and drug production. The investigations, carried out within the framework of the Plan for the Prevention and Fight against Drug Trafficking, originated when the Central Operativa de Servicios (COS) alerted patrols of the Torre Pacheco Civil Guard that in the town of Roldán there had been several hooded people shouting and knocking on the door of a house. Immediately, a citizen security prevention patrol, along with local police units from the municipality, moved to the place and observed various damages in the access door to the garage of the house, as well as a vehicle, parked in the vicinity, with a broken window. Citizen collaboration Residents of the area confirmed that moments before, several hooded people had been knocking on the door of the house, shouting for their residents to open. The agents noticed that a strong smell of marijuana emanated from the building, being able to see, through the breaks in the door, that there was a marijuana plantation inside. The inhabitant of the house was identified and, in view of the evidence obtained, the entrance of the agents gave way. The enclosure, a garage in the basement, had been enabled for the indoor cultivation of marijuana plants, equipped with all the technical means to facilitate its growth. Inside, 350 marijuana plants, 24 heat lamps, 24 reflective screens, 5 fans and 2 carbon filters were seized. The investigation culminated with the instruction of proceedings as alleged perpetrator of the crime of cultivation and preparation of drugs, of the inhabitant of the house, a young man, 34 years old and of Spanish nationality who, together with the drug and the effects intervened; and the proceedings investigated, it was placed at the disposal of the Court of Instruction on duty in San Javier (Murcia). The Civil Guard in collaboration with the Local Police of Torre-Pacheco has thus dismantled a point of cultivation of narcotic substances in the district of Roldán-Torre Pacheco whose purpose was to supply numerous consumers in the area. With this operation, there are already three points of cultivation, preparation of and distribution of drugs dismantled in recent months by the Civil Guard in the municipality of Torre Pacheco. At the beginning of the month, the Civil Guard dismantled two marijuana plantations in the Pacheco districts of Roldán and Lo Ferro, where large quantities of different types of drugs and other effects related to drug trafficking were seized.
Two people were investigated as alleged perpetrators of a crime against public health.
