The Mayor of Torre Pacheco, Antonio León, the Councilor for Employment, Verónica Martínez and the Councilor for Public Roads, Yolanda Castaño, welcomed the 7 people who joined on June 17 this morning, with a 6-month contract, within two projects subsidized by the Regional Employment and Training Service and co-financed by the Ministry of Labor, Migration and Social Security, under the "Local Public Employment" subprogram.Antonio León, wanted to welcome them, highlighting that they will not work only for the City Council, but will perform a public service for the 36,000 residents of the municipality of Torre Pacheco.
In addition, he has taken the opportunity to thank them for the effort, encouraging them to make the most of the training and learning during this period.As reported by the Councilor for Employment, Verónica Martínez, in the project "Maintenance Service Playgrounds for Children", with a subsidized amount of 50,772.12 euros, 4 workers have been hired for 6 months full time, 2 pawns of construction, 1 bricklayer and 1 painter.
These contracted personnel will carry out works consisting of services for the maintenance and carrying out of small repairs in the playgrounds distributed throughout the municipality and which are municipally owned, these workers will have the supervision of the official, foreman and municipal technicians.On the other hand, in the project "Maintenance Service Gardens around the Pasico", with a subsidized amount of 32,133.06 euros, for the hiring of 3 garden laborers, for 6 months, full time.
These workers will be in charge of the basic maintenance of the green areas around the Pasico, for their improvement and enhancement.
