The mayor of Torre Pacheco, Antonio León and the president of the Association of People with Disabilities Prometeo, Ascensión Méndez have signed the renewal of the collaboration agreement that the City Council and Prometheus maintain.The Councilor for Social Services, Maria José López and the Councilor for Equality, Verónica Martínez, along with Andrés Belluga, a member of the Prometeo board, have also attended the signing of the agreement between the City Council of Torre Pacheco and the Prometeo Association, held today in the Town Hall.
In this way, the Prometeo association receives an economic contribution of 80,000 euros to carry out actions aimed at the group of minors from 0 to 6 years old, beneficiaries of the Center for Child Development and Early Care (CDIAT) of the municipality of Torre Pacheco, as well as the maintenance of its services, programs and activities.The Center opened in 2010, with the aim of providing specialized care to the child population from 0 to 6 years old, to the family and to the environment, performing an early intervention in those children who present with developmental disorders or who are at risk of suffer them, develops a great work in the municipality of Torre Pacheco.
