The 2020/2021 Works and Services Plan of the City Council of Torre Pacheco will have more than one million euros to improve the infrastructure of the municipality.
75% of these investments will go to works to prevent future floods.Torre Pacheco City Council will have more than one million euros for the 2020/2021 Works and Services Plan that will allow different works and infrastructures to improve the municipality.
Urban Planning Councilor Alberto Galindo explained that, to the nearly 560 thousand euros contributed by the council itself, another 490 thousand euros from the subsidy provided by the Autonomous Community are added.75 percent of these investments will go to works to prevent future floods.
One of them will be held on Avenida de Balsicas where the road pavement will be raised, expanding the current hydraulic capacity 6 times and 3 frames will be placed to facilitate the evacuation of water.
For the same purpose, fords will be built in Torre Pacheco, Roldán and Dolores de Pacheco, next to the boulevards.The San Cayetano senior center will also be rehabilitated, adapting it to current urban planning regulations, making an accessible outdoor sidewalk and renovating the interior facilities and toilets.On the other hand, access to the Pasico urbanization and school will be improved thanks to the placement of a round at the intersection of Avenida de Roldán and Avenida María Alicia Domínguez while in the surroundings of the Dolores de Pacheco school, the sidewalks and street lighting will be improved.
