The Torre Pacheco Open Shopping Center will have a new public lighting system with LED technology that allows energy savings while offering more lighting.The Torre Pacheco City Council is carrying out works to improve public lighting in several streets of the municipality's Open Shopping Center.
The current luminaires are being replaced by others that operate with white light LED technology.The Councilor for Commerce and Public Roads, Yolanda Castaño, explained that this new lighting represents energy savings at the same time that it offers greater lighting than previously.Castaño affirmed that it will also serve to "reactivate the shopping center, making it more attractive for its walk and safe for the sale." This action has a total budget of 40,528 euros, thanks to the grant of 25,000 euros from the General Directorate of Commerce and the rest of the amount contributed by the Torre Pacheco City Council.
