The mayor of Torre Pacheco, Antonio León, accompanied by the Councilor for Education, Paco Sáez, and the Councilor for Urban Planning, Alberto Galindo, visited the Alba school in Roldán, together with the acting director of the center, Isidro Inarejos, to supervise the improvement and conditioning actions that the City Council is carrying out in the center.Specifically, and as reported by the Councilor for Education, at the El Alba school, the expansion of two classrooms has been carried out, and the installation of 57 fans in the total of 19 classrooms at the school.
Likewise, it has indicated that the cost of the performance has been an amount of approximately 10,000 euros, thanking the AMPA of the educational center for the purchase of the fans.The councilor has added that conditioning work is being carried out in all schools, painting, furniture arrangement and adaptation of spaces, among others and that cleaning has been intensified in the municipality's schools to meet the needs of protection and hygiene of the personnel of the educational centers and of the students in the face of COVID-19 and with it, guarantee a safe return to the classrooms, next Monday, September 14.As of Monday, a cleaning checkpoint will be daily during school hours in the schools, and the municipal custodians will carry out daily hypochlorite disinfection tasks on the outside of the schools.
