The Mayor of Torre Pacheco, Antonio León, announced today the closure of all the playgrounds in the municipality, to avoid a concentration of people.
The closure of parks will be accompanied by a new campaign to disinfect particularly crowded public spaces, added the Mayor, who noted that "the City Council will take whatever measures are necessary to try to reduce infections, always following the recommendations of the health authorities."Until today, the more than 60 parks were being disinfected daily with antiviral products by STV Gestión, and no incidence or contagion had occurred in these spaces.
However, given the worrying increase in cases in our Region, the City Council is going to redouble prevention and containment measures, following at all times the indications of the regional and national health authorities.
