The Mayor of Torre Pacheco, Antonio León, accompanied by the Councilor for Employment, Verónica Martínez and the Councilor for Finance, Carlos López, along with technicians from the Department of Employment and Local Development, have visited the Young Space of Torre Pacheco, to meet the participants of the EJOVEN project, and the methodology of the initiative.The project called "EJOVEN", subsidized by the Regional Employment and Training Service and co-financed by the State Public Employment Service of the Ministry of Labor, Migration and Social Security, began on August 31, with training classes at the Space facilities Young man from Torre Pacheco. The "EJOVEN" project is framed within the Mixed Employment-Training Program for unemployed equal to or over 25 years of age, with the development of two training specialties for 12 months.
For the development of these 2 training specialties, the City Council has hired 1 coordinator and 1 teacher and 24 students, 12 for each training specialty.The actions are: Auxiliary Operations for the Assembly of Electrotechnical and Telecommunications Installations in Buildings and Auxiliary Operations for Continuous Coatings in Constructions.These students / workers are trained to obtain the corresponding professional qualification and at the same time they will develop work for the rehabilitation and conditioning of the Youth Space, located in the old Rosario school, in order to enable spaces, rooms and multipurpose classrooms for the development of cultural and leisure activities preferably aimed at young people, as reported by the Councilor for Employment, Verónica Martínez.
