| Firefighters have been working from the first hour to extinguish a fire in a recycling plant in Torre Pacheco | Firefighters of the Consortium of Fire Extinguishing and Rescue of the Region of Murcia (CEIS) and of the Fire Extinguishing, Rescue and Civil Protection Service of the City of Cartagena are working on the fire declared early this morning at a plant in recycling near the La Estrella de Torre Pacheco industrial park.
There is no record of injuries.The 1-1-2 received calls reporting the incident at 5:57 a.m.
Local police patrols and CEIS firefighters were mobilized to the site.
Upon arrival, they asked for support, so they were mobilized and firefighters from the Cartagena City Council and firefighters from 4 regional Consortium parks are at the scene.
The emergency health services are prepared in case their intervention is necessary.
Likewise, the municipal Civil Protection has been notified to take charge of logistical support.
