The Autonomous Community is carrying out the reconstruction of the slopes and ditches of the Torre Pacheco ring road (RM-313) damaged by the Dana last year with the aim of improving road safety for the more than 4,800 users who circulate daily through this via.The slopes to be rebuilt are located at kilometer 0.3 and 5.8 respectively, and in both cases they will be lined with concrete to prevent future erosion and flooding on the road.
The general director of Roads, José Antonio Fernández Lladó, explained that his department is accelerating the works to the maximum to recover the conditions of the regional roads affected by the torrential rains last year.The completion of the works was scheduled for this week but the rainfall this morning may delay it until next Monday.
