| Signing of a collaboration agreement between the Torre Pacheco City Council and Cáritas Diocese of Cartagena | This morning a collaboration agreement was signed between the Torre Pacheco City Council and Cáritas Diocese of Cartagena.
The event chaired by the mayor of Torre Pacheco, Antonio León and by the director of Cáritas Torre Pacheco, José García, was attended by the councilor for Social Services, María José López.Its purpose is to articulate the conditions and commitments applicable to the granting of a grant from the Torre Pacheco City Council to Cáritas Diocese of Cartagena, of 20,000 euros, for the development of the activities of Cáritas Torre Pacheco in the area of ??specific emergency aid social assistance, aid to passersby, maintenance of the Home of the Passer-by and delivery of food to individuals, families or groups in recognized need, as well as social assistance to all users of Cáritas in the municipality of Torre Pacheco.The Councilor for Social Services, María José López, highlighted the great work of Cáritas in our municipality, and the solidarity of all our neighbors, also recalled that the Torre Pacheco City Council has been collaborating with this entity for years, supporting various projects of social interest for the municipality.
