One more year and coinciding with the Christmas season, the traditional Radio Marathon is held in Torre Pacheco for the benefit of Cáritas, an appeal to the solidarity of the residents of the municipality to collaborate with food and / or money for the most disadvantaged families.A program that this year is faced in a special way, due to the pandemic that we are suffering.
This will ensure that food donations from neighbors are made at the offices of the Cáritas Commissary, from December 14 to 18 from 10 a.m.
to 12 p.m.
and from 5pm to 6.30pm.
to avoid concentrations of people, thus respecting the indications set by the health authorities.The Radio Marathon will be on the air on Friday, December 18 from 10 in the morning to 7 in the afternoon, making it live from the Plaza del Ayuntamiento de Torre Pacheco.
This will be a day of coexistence, live Radio, with interviews, gatherings and music, where the direct and telematic participation of educational centers, associations and groups of the entire Municipality is planned.The Councilor for Youth, Verónica Martínez, accompanied by the Vicar of Campo de Cartagena and Mar Menor, David Robles, the director of Cáritas, José García, and Teodoro Fructuoso director of Radio Torre Pacheco, have held an organization meeting for the launch of the Radio Marathon Solidario, encouraging the participation and solidarity of the residents of the municipality.
