From the Torre Pacheco City Council on Disability Day they remind us of the importance of promoting the rights and well-being of people with disabilities in all areas of society, as well as raising awareness about their situation in all aspects of life.The Councilor for Social Services, María José López, has reiterated the great work of PROMETEO, AIDEMAR, D'GENES Working Group DYRK 1ª, and AFAL Cartagena and Comarca, to give visibility and awareness to society.In addition, he stressed that they are Associations that work for disability in the municipality of Torre Pacheco, to raise awareness about the social integration of people with physical and organic disabilities, equal rights and opportunities, as well as non-discrimination and the importance of live without barriers, not only architectural, but also mental.
