Various institutes in the Murcia region have participated, specifically in the municipalities of Cartagena, Murcia, Molina de Segura and Mula. The winning students are Jos Mar a Fructuoso, Celia S nchez and Carolina de Haro from CCE Virgen del Pasico and Eduardo G mez Mart nez from CCE Pasico 2. The objective has been focused on the teams making a reasoned presentation on issues of the economic-financial sphere through audiovisual format, a key component of the online educational experiences lived by students from all over the world in 2020. It also favors the acquisition of skills related to teamwork, the search for information and its communication. The students themselves, through an educational video, have demonstrated their clarity and at the time of transmitting messages, at the same time that they have developed creativity and motivation in the study of economic issues present in the day.

This activity It is framed within the Financial Education Plan of the Bank of Spain and the National Market Commission, of which the General Council of Economists of Spain is a collaborator, and whose motto for this year is in relation to “Responsible Finance”. The event was attended by Carlos Albaladejo Alarc n, general director of Educational Innovation and Attention to Diversity of the Ministry of Education and Culture of CARM and Ram n Madrid Nicol s, dean of the College of Economists of the Region of Murcia. The 1st Audiovisual Communication Contest on Financial Education continues the 1st national edition of the 2019 High School Economic Debate Tournament, which has not been possible given the current health emergency situation. National phase On January 20, 2021, the official communication of the finalist videos of the National Phase will be made.

The participants in this phase are those high school educational centers that win the provincial phase of the competition of the different Provincial Schools.
