For some years now, the figure of Vicente Noguera, Justice of the Peace and art collector has been studied and investigated, who in the middle of the 20th century, as a gallery, set up a room in his house for the exhibition of his collection.

Upon his death, this room was handed over as an inheritance to the Torre Pacheco City Council, becoming over the years the current Vicente Noguera Gallery, currently in the process of rehabilitation. The fruits of this research have led to the conclusion that it is necessary to value not only the person of Vicente Noguera, but also the wide artistic collection that he owned, making it known to the municipality. For this, we must highlight the close collaboration that has been established with the Museum of Fine Arts of Murcia, a place where the vast majority of the extensive Noguera Collection is currently deposited. The Councilor for Culture, Raúl Lledó and the head of the Archive, Carmen María Alcaraz, have held a meeting with Juan García Sandoval, director of MUBAM, to continue working on the enhancement of the figure of Vicente Noguera, and with the aim of show the wide artistic collection of this illustrious pachequero to society.
